Job Details
Title: Business Development / Technical Sales Person

Product: Materials Handling Equipment

Role: The Business Development /Technical Sales Person will be selling our company´s varying conveyor systems and other materials handling equipment to the food, drink, dairy, plastics, blow moulding and associated industries.
* You will be managing sales and develop new business for the company´s products in the U.K. & Ireland (and to a lesser extent Europe).
* You will research the market and put together an action plan to enable your targets to be met .
* This is a home based role and you will be reporting daily via e-mail & phone to the Managing Director.
* You will hold a once weekly meeting at the company outlining work undertaken in the previous week, and potential business incoming
There is potential to make it up to director level

PERSON REQUIREMENTS

* The Business Development/ Sales Person must have a proven track record in business development and very good sales experience and knowledge.
* As the Business Development/ Sales Person, you must have the ability to identify opportunities and develop strategies.
* You must have good knowledge of MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel and Outlook.
* You must be willing to travel overseas.
* The selected candidate must be able to demonstrate good sales ability with an extremely enthusiastic attitude. Must be honest and highly motivated.
* You will show the ability to bring in new business and be able to generate own leads.
* As a Business Development Manager must want to achieve high standards
* You will be hungry for success and target driven.
* You will be a lateral thinker with excellent relationship building skills.
