| An excellent opportunity for candidates with a technical/engineering background desiring to move into a sales & marketing support role with the view to progressing into a sales position. Sensornet is a dynamic growing company and is seeking an energetic individual with 2-5 years experience with good commercial awareness and communication skills.
The Role Sensornet is expanding its Sales and Marketing team and is looking to recruit for a candidate to report to the head of the sales and marketing teams.
The key responsibilities will be: * Develop and maintain existing customer base and focal point for customer support * Respond to general sales enquiries, while making the most of every opportunity to bring on board prospective new accounts. * Responsible for company marketing material ? including both printed material (brochure, newsletter..) and online marketing (website, email campaign?.) * Preparing technical proposals and tenders to final draft stage and follow-up proposals with customer * Coordinating and attending international trade shows and exhibitions * Liaise with accounts department to ensure timely payments
The Candidate Ideally we are seeking someone with 2-5 years commercial experience, with a technical background (engineering, IT?) and previous experience in sales/marketing. However, most important is that the candidate is energetic and has a strong desire to work in sales & marketing. We will consider strong candidates of all backgrounds who possess the following key attributes. * Ability to communicate clearly on all levels and must be able to engage with the customer * A strong technical background and the ability to pick up new concepts quickly * Superior commercial awareness * Self ?starter and able to take responsibility for key assignments |
